Dr. Ghafouri is the Director of Oculoplastic, Reconstructive and Facial Cosmetic Surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology at Boston Medical Center, and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine. She specializes in surgery of the eyelids, orbit, and lacrimal system, as well as facial cosmetic surgery.
She was educated at UCLA and Chicago Medical School, and completed residency training at Boston University School of Medicine. She completed an Oculoplastics fellowship at Tufts New England Medical Center.
