Dr. Siegel’s practice consists of patients referred for the diagnosis and management of diseases of the retina. Her clinical interests include medical treatment of retinal diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, intraocular inflammation, retinal vascular disease, and surgical repair of all vitreoretinal conditions including retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes and macular holes.
Dr. Siegel is a board certified ophthalmologist and a Vitreo-Retinal surgeon. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Dartmouth College. She then went on to earn her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency, holding the position of chief resident, followed by a two-year Vitreo-Retinal fellowship at Boston Medical Center. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine.
